Bath College is delighted to announce the recruitment of Professor Andy Salmon as the new Chair of their Corporation. He will take over this voluntary leadership role from Carole Stott OBE, who has held this role since January 2014.
Professor Salmon is a highly experienced leader in higher and further education. He is Pro Vice Chancellor for External Relations at Bath Spa University and has a background working across the College and University sector nationally and
internationally as well as leading on community initiatives.
Bath College Principal, Laurel Penrose, said, ‘Andy will be a real asset to our board, bringing a wealth of experience to the College, at a key time for the region as we begin recovery from the Covid pandemic and when addressing local needs that are central to the wellbeing of our community. At the same time, we want to acknowledge the excellent leadership and decisive, inclusive approach to governance, which Carole has provided in her years at the helm. She will be very much missed, and always a friend to the College.’
